The Salvucci’s Story: Family, Food and Tradition

Family is everything to us, which is why we created a restaurant that pays homage to our Italian heritage and family history. Salvucci’s story began in San Donato, a small village located in the Comino Valley in central Italy. Our grandparents, Loreto and Pasqua Salvucci, immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts in the 1930’s with their three children. Their daughter, Carmela, married Peter Renzella and together, they raised our large, East Coast Italian-American family. 

Salvucci’s honors our family name and traditions, all the way from Italy to the San Diego community that we are now proud to call home.
