The Salvucci’s Story: Family, Food and Tradition
Salvucci’s is more than just a name to us. It’s food, rooted in our culture and traditions. It’s recipes, passed down from generation to generation; each adding their own unique touch while still honoring the integrity of the original flavors. It’s community, where neighbors are family and bonds are built and strengthened around the kitchen table.
Our family’s story began in San Donato, a small village located in the Comino Valley in central Italy. Our grandparents, Loreto and Pasqua Salvucci, immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts in the 1930’s with their three children. Their daughter, Carmela, married Peter Renzella and together, they raised our large, East Coast Italian-American family.
